There is plenty of space for your two-wheelers in our underground car park. You can also charge your e-bikes here.
The cycle tour into the Stillachtal valley is rich in variety and views. From Jägersberg, head southwards. You reach the Renksteg via the Loretto chapels in Oberstdorf. This is where the cycle path along the River Stillach begins. The leisurely gravel path leads past the Heini-Klopfer ski jump and later the Fellhorn cable car until the path forks in the hamlet of Birgsau. There are various places to stop for refreshments here, such as the Alpe Eschbach. For those who still have energy left in their legs, the route now heads off in the right-hand direction: the right-hand path leads into the Rappenalp valley to the Buchrainer and Breitengehren Alps and the Schwarze Hütte. The left-hand path leads to the postcard motif of Einödsbach and the mountain inn of the same name.
Distance to Birgsau: 14 km
Distance to the Schwarzen Hütte: 20 km
Distance to Einödsbach: 16 km
From Jägersberg, the route leads via the Tiefenbach districts of Wasach and Winkel to the ‘centre’ of the small village. This is where the quiet road into Rohrmoostal begins. The road runs steadily uphill so that you cover around 200 metres in altitude. Once you arrive in Rohrmoos, you should take some time to visit the frescoes in the old wooden chapel of St. Anna. To turn the cycle tour into a round trip, you can cycle back from here via the Osterbergalpe, around the Engenkopf towards Breitachklamm and Tiefenbach. You will cover a few more metres in altitude on this section. But: numerous lovely places to stop for refreshments - from rustic alpine huts to larger restaurants - are waiting for you to take a break! :)
Distance to Rohrmoos: 10 km
Total round tour: 30 km
You can cycle as far as your legs will take you on the Iller cycle path. To do this, you first cycle along the cycle path to McDonalds. From here, you first cycle along the Breitach, which joins the Stillach and Trettach to form the Iller after a few kilometres at the source of the Iller.
It's entirely up to you how far you want to cycle on the leisurely gravel path - theoretically you could even cycle as far as Ulm. :)
However, our favourite route only goes as far as Fischen. The best thing to do here is to treat yourself to an ice cream at the local ice cream parlour, watch the ducks on the Grundbach stream or play a game of mini golf right next door. The route then takes you back uphill to Maderhalm. From here you have a marvellous view of the Allgäu main ridge. Then it's downhill again towards Langenwang.
Distance to Fischen: 5 km
Round tour: 12 km
Your thighs are challenged here - or the battery of your e-bike ;)
The Käseralpe far back in the Oytal valley is the destination of this cycle tour. From Jägersberg, you first head towards Oberstdorf in the direction of the Nebelhorn cable car. This is where the trail begins along the Trettach river into the Oytal valley. Always following the signposts, we finally reach the picturesque tree-lined avenue. The trail then continues on a moderate ascent to the Gutenalpe, but then we have to start pedalling. A crisp 380 metres in altitude await us. After the impressive Stuibenfall waterfall, you are almost there. Once you arrive at the Alpe, don't miss out on a tasty snack or a homemade cake.
Distance to Oytalhaus: 10 km
Distance to the Käseralpe: 20 km
